The microphone is embedded in the temple transducer, which eliminates the need for the boom microphone and is ideal for users wearing masks, helmets and other gear. You can operate in loud environments while wearing hearing protection and still communicate effectively on your radio. Designed for use with APX Display Remote Speaker Microphones: HMN4101, HMN4103 and HMN4104. It is connected to a Hirose 8P connector.
